Ring Resizing

All ring purchases made at Somewhere In Time Fine Jewelry, come with a free one-time ring resizing up to two sizes larger or smaller from the ring size written in the description. Please note, most modern jewelry sold on our site already comes in a range of sizes. Contact us anytime and we'll let you know what we have in stock and if there's a difference in price.

We also resize any ring you already own. Either stop by the store in Carlsbad, CA or call for a price quote. We happily accept rings via insured USPS that we will resize within 7 days and ship back to you via USPS insured mail. We take security very seriously so we photograph every piece we receive and email you a picture of the item as its been received at our store.

Appraisals

Somewhere In Time offers appraisals on all your favorite pieces of jewelry or antiques for personal use, insurance claims or for resale value. Our GIA-certified gemologist with over 35 years of jewelry and antique experience will give you an appraisal you can feel confident about.

Store Credit

On every piece of jewelry we buy, we offer the option of cash or store credit at a mark-up. For example, a $100 cash purchase equates to store credit valued at $150. We offer store credit at the sole discretion of the store owner.

Repairs

It can be devastating when your favorite necklace falls apart or the clasp on your bracelet refuses to close anymore. Somewhere In Time Fine Jewelry has a jeweler on-hand with 35 years experience that will take special care of all your most precious pieces. Re-stringing necklaces, clasp replacement, earring and ring repair are all services we offer both in the store and online. Once you order a repair online, you send in your jewelry USPS registered or insured mail. When we receive your order we take a picture of it, so you can follow its progress through the repair. When you first order we will inform you of how long we expect the repair to take based on the information provided during the order. If the information given during the order is not accurate, we reserve the right to change the price and/or deadline in which you can expect to receive your jewelry back. If we need to change the price or deadline you will be informed before any work is performed and you will be expected to approve the changes to the quote in writing. Make sure you contact us in a timely manner to ensure that your repair takes place quickly and efficiently.
